My Little Survivor

I've dubbed Ansley my little survivor because I feel confident that if she were ever in a situation (God forbid) like Home Alone, there would be no worries about her survival. She's constantly climbing up into the cabinets to get food and other goodies whenever she feels the notion and I know if she's not in a room with me then I need to check the kitchen! Last night she decided to play like a racoon again and climbed into the cabinet to get herself some oreos. Her plot was foiled when I busted her and following the tantrum of the century I thought I was brilliant in hiding the oreos under my bed. I should have known my little racoon would eventually find them! This afternoon we were all in the bedroom watching a show and I began to hear something rustling under the bed. We took a peek under the bed and this is what we found!

BUSTED again!

Happy Valentines Day

We have had a wonderful Valentines Day so far. The girls woke up and discovered their valentine goodies. Ansley was so excited to get her strawberry shortcake doll and coloring book that she squealed the entire time she was going through her basket. We then got dressed and went to our cousin Annabelle's 2nd birthday party. This was really Ansley's first party where she was totally independent in every way. I was very impressed and noticed that she is definitely ready to be two. Only one more month to go! I hope that everyone has a wonderful day today!!

Ta-dah, we're back!

We had an amazing weekend. It was nice and warm and sunny and we were finally able to get outside and enjoy the fresh air a bit. Adam bought a chariot to pull the girls behind the bike and both of them loved being able to ride together. We played outside in the back yard and everyone was happy and healthy so I couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend. We also got to see Mema and Grandaddy for a little while on Saturday morning so that was an extra bonus! While playing outback, I noticed that there were a few buds on our camellia bushes so hopefully this warm weather will stick around and Spring will come soon. Keep your fingers crossed!
