A Six Flags kind of day

Today we spent the morning at Six Flags. Since we are season pass holders, and locals, we can reap the benefits of just dropping by the park for a couple of hours then leaving the rest of the masses to sweat it out all day long. I decided today would be a great morning to go since they had predicted it would be cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms and I figured it would be much cooler than normal...WRONG....it was H-O-T folks! The good part was that the threat of rain must have scared everyone off because we were able to walk right on just about every single ride we wanted to go on. We hit up the brand new Monster Plantation a few times and much to my surprise Ansley laughed the entire time. The rest of the morning was spent in the kiddie section and munching on our refillable popcorn and cotton candy (can't break tradition at .99 cents per refill!) I packed the kids a sandwich and some fruit and we were in and out of the park for a whopping $5 (2 refillable coke zero's, 2 bags of cotton candy, and 1 popcorn.) On our way out of the park we ran into Daffy Duck and he gave Sarah a Scooby-Doo stuffed animal. How did he know she was such a huge Scooby fan?? FAVOR!! :-) We had a wonderful morning and can't wait to go back one night with Adam.

Awwwwww, sister L-O-V-E

Thank goodness for those refillable popcorn/cotton candy buckets!
