We were at Lenox the other day and as we were making our way through the mall we ran across Santa. He was sitting there watching all the little children misbehave in the mall when the girls caught sight of him. Sarah was actually not listening and running ahead of me when she suddenly came to a screeching halt. Their eyes had met and it's almost as if she was thinking....uh oh, he saw me not listening to mommy. She turned to look at me and had this uh oh grin on her face....it was priceless. When he motioned for the girls to come see him I decided to go ahead and let them since there was no line. For Lenox mall, this is a rare sight. At first Ansley was hesitant but once the candy canes appeared it was a different story. Sarah got a few minutes alone with him and told him what she wanted then Ansley and I went and sat with them. We had about ten minutes of uninterupted Santa time (again....a rare thing at Lenox!) I was great to have a warm-up visit because our official Santa appointment is next week at Phipps and now they are excited and looking forward to seeing him again.

Think Pink
Priscilla the Pink Pig is back! Yesterday we went to Lenox and the girls rode the Pink Pig. It was nice because there was no line and no screaming kids. Sarah came away from the experience wanting to live in a completely pink house, both inside and out, and Ansley had to be pryed out of her seat when the ride was over. The first of many things I can check off my list of things to do this holiday season.....YAY!!

The end to a L-O-N-G month
I am so glad to say this month is OVER!! It has been a very long and busy month for us. When I sat down to think about all that has happened this month I was amazed that we had so much going on...and we survived! I honestly think this has been our busiest month the entire year. We have had our share of parties, festivals, RAIN, sickness, happiness and sadness this month. October is usually one of my favorite months because there is always so much going on. Leaves are changing, weather gets cooler, I get to celebrate my birthday, and much more. This month has been a tough one though and as busy as we were, it seemed like this month would never end. The girls certainly enjoyed themselves with parties and festivals galore and even though it was a rainy Halloween night, they had a wonderful time going door to door collecting candy and are already planning for next year! ;)
