FINALLY...the egg hunt

Ok so I am finally getting around to posting the last pictures from the Easter weekend. The egg hunt this year was amazing. The weather was perfect and warm and there were plenty of eggs for the girls. Sarah had perfected her hunting skills this year and took the task very seriously. She moved around with stealth precision picking up her eggs very quickly like she was scared she wouldn't get anything. Amazingly we didn't even have to teach Ansley what to do. She just grabbed her basket and took off collecting eggs. It was definitely a great ending to a wonderful weekend!

Coloring Eggs

Things have been so busy lately that we almost forgot to color our eggs. This year Ansley had the job of drawing on the eggs and left the task of dipping them to Sarah. Fortunately for me all she cared about was getting to draw on something other than paper! Another tricky part was getting her not to slam them down on the table (we had a few testers in that department.) Everyone had a lot of fun with this and Sarah loved when Adam showed her how to die the eggs different colors. Now comes the question of how many different ways can I work eggs into our menu this week?

The finished eggs!

Happy Easter and Resurrection Day!

What an exciting day! My little bunny....and the rest of my bunnies would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter! Jesus is risen!!

Slumber Party

Here are pictures of all the girls in the nightgowns Aunt Nancy made them for Christmas. Kelsey and Hayley forgot to bring theirs but the other four very very excited to all be wearing them together for a slumber party. The nights were rainy and cool so everyone stayed snuggly warm in their flannel gowns. Thanks Aunt Nancy!!

Spring Break Six Flags Trip

This past week Ashley and the girls have been visiting for their Spring Break. One of the highlights of our week was our trip to Six Flags. The day was a bit chilly but there was hardly anyone there so we were able to walk right on just about every ride. It was the perfect afternoon eating cotton candy, popcorn, and of course funnel cakes. We all bought season passes and can't wait to go back again!
